FNNDSC Hospital Marketing Feature: Big data, big breakthroughs in HIE prediction

Newborn Medicine Marketing recently highlighted an important publication, Data harmonization framework for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy studies, by Drs. Ellen Grant and Yangming Ou, along with their collaborators. The work focuses on leveraging AI and big data to improve outcome prediction for infants with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), advancing a more precise and data-informed approach to neonatal care.

Welcome Summer Interns!

BCH welcomed the 2026 COACH college interns this past month, marking the 20th anniversary of the COACH internship program. This year, 49 students joined 44 departments across the hospital, and the FNNDSC is proud to host 4 of these interns.

In addition to COACH, we are excited to welcome 15 student interns this summer, ranging from high school to graduate level and representing a variety of institutions. We are proud to provide a place for the next generation of students to explore their research interests and learn to develop and grow new skills!

FAQ for OMB Open Comment Period:

In collaboration with BCH’s Office of Government Relations and Research Faculty Senate, Research Administration have developed a FAQ document to support members of our community in submitting comments on the federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) proposed rule that would impact all federal grantmaking including at the National Institutes of Health.

 

 

BCH IT Changes: Action Required

  • The way you sign into our VPN is changing; the Microsoft Authenticator app will replace Duo in 2026

  • You must set up Microsoft Authenticator to maintain access to VPN, Outlook, and Teams: Setting Up Microsoft Authenticator
