NIRS Team Update

The on-site research team at CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda (CCHU) has enrolled over 150 infants in Dr. Ivy Lin’s study titled “Improving infant hydrocephalus outcomes in Uganda: Predicting developmental outcomes and identifying patients at risk for early treatment failure after ETV/CPC”. With the target enrollment set at 300 patients, the CCHU team has enrolled more than half their study population in just one year! Congratulations to both the CCHU and BCH NIRS teams on this remarkable achievement!
