Amaavi is an undergraduate pre-medical and cognitive science student at Vassar College. She joined the FNNDSC in June. Amaavi will be conducting research with Dr. Eleonora Tamilia, utilizing MRI, EEG, and MEG neuroimaging techniques to predict surgical outcomes in pediatric patients with epilepsy and to analyze biomarkers of early influences on neurodevelopment. In her free time, she loves long-distance running, swimming in the ocean, reading memoirs, and making cards for people she loves.
