NIRS Team
The NIRS team has had a quiet this week, as we are gearing up to prepare for the CURE study to start in Uganda. This has included shipping preparations, and the creation of a comprehensive instructional video on how to do NIRS measurements. The engineering team has been busy at work on a new source coupler that will be a huge signal boost for NIRS technology.
Landmark Department Move
The FNNDSC will be moving from the 7 East floor to the 6 East floor during the late April/early May timeframe. In early anticipation of the move, boxes, move labels, and keyboard bags will be distributed to your cubicles and offices this week.
We wanted to provide you with a preliminary moving checklist:
Please send Gauravi your computer Tag # and cubicle/office Jack # for our Move Sheet. If you work remotely and need help collecting your jack #, she can assist. It is important you also provide the name of the linux computer you primarily use.
Covid-19 Vaccine Appointment
All FNNDSC staff are now eligible to schedule Covid-19 vaccine appointments. To schedule the vaccine appointment, staff should contact the Practice Liaison Program at 617-919-7102 from 7am-8pm Mon-Fri. If phones are busy, staff should join the below zoom line to schedule.

FNNDSC Fleece Orders - Payments and order specifics due by this Friday, 02/26
Interested staff members who voted yes to purchasing an FNNDSC fleece jacket can write a check payable to A&R Sawyer and reference “7888B” in the memo field and send to admin, Gauravi (email her for mailing address). If you prefer Venmo, please email Gauravi and discuss details.
