"The ChRIS Research Integration System (ChRIS) is an open source platform that manages data and containerized analytics/compute. ChRIS was developed at the Fetal-Neonatal Neuroimaging and Developmental Science Center at Boston Children's Hospital, originally as a solution to facilitate medical-imaging compute of pediatric neuro-MRI. While the project has grown beyond its initial narrow data domain into a more general-purpose container scheduling platform, it still has its "heart" in biomedical image compute, aiming to bring advanced computing into the front lines of medicine."
